1. Could you please define graphic designing in your own words?
Graphic Designing for me is re-designing old things or things that look bad, things like a logo of a product, a traffic-signal, bad advertising. Also, graphic design is about creating new things, new ways to transmit a message by graphics, maybe creating things that make the people stop, look and find them interesting.

2. What influenced you to pursue graphic designing?
The reason why I choose to study graphic design is because I like to draw. I like creating new things. I like to work with advertising, choose colors, mix colors, and everything that I can see and transmit a message.

3. Could you please describe the educational process required to become a graphic designer?
To become a graphic designer, you have to study how to draw, not perfectly, but just good enough to present ideas in a paper like a first design or sketch. You have to learn how to work with the programs of graphic design like Photoshop, Freehand and others that are used nowadays to create things and look better. Also you have to know some painting techniques, printing and others.

4. What are some of the skills that are involved when designing?
I think drawing because you have to present your first ideas, mixing of colors, study of the forms, be creative, try to think in something new, know about the programs of graphic design.

5. What job considerations were you looking for after you completed your education?
I consider work in an important magazine or newspaper, maybe I would like to build my own company with friends of my career, but definitively I would like to work in an advertising agency.

6. What's something in your student life that you enjoy the most?
I enjoy the process when you create things, I like to draw so I like to put my ideas in paper, too and then work it in the computer.

7. What is the most difficult aspect of graphic designing?
I think is the time because you need time to think, to have ideas, a good idea that surprise the people, so then you have the idea you need time to work that idea like painting or copy in the computer and change it, like the color, the forms and else, and that take time.

8. What are your plans for the future?
I think looking for a job here or in other countries in a publicity agency… I hope that I’ll find someone… and maybe I continue studying in some post-grade in advertising and marketing.

9. Point out your most personally gratifying moment in graphic designing.
I think is when you see your work done or finish this moment you see how every part of the composition become in one, how about the mixing colors, the forms, the harmony, this is when you see how much you evolve your abilities in this career.

10. Why would you recommend graphic designing as a career?
I recommend graphic designing as a career because everything that we see have design, every car, every table, every chair, every product was an idea in a paper that later become real. Also graphic designing is a vehicle to transmit and communicate ideas and thoughts by graphics.

Hi people I invite you to meet a friend of my English course. He`s name is Sergio Portillo. He`s studying Electronic Engineering, he is twenty-one years old, he lives here in maracaibo, edo zulia in La Picola.

Sergio likes study, play video games, watch anime, actions movies, sci-fi movies...but of course there are things that Sergio doesn´t like, he doesn´t like Germans, go to bed early.

Sergio dreams to work in an Internacional Company, get married, have childrens, travel a lot and he said me that he likes to have superpowers.

I ask to Sergio about their opinion of English and he told me that he like it a lot and he thinks the English it`s very important for the globalization.

I love my career and everything that I learn everyday, I like work with design´s programs. I like play voleiball and skate with my sister, i like cht in the internet and draw of course.

I hate vallenato´s music a hate it a lot, I don´t like spaggetti, injustice, the war, wake up early.

My dream is to be a professional graphic designer, get married, have a family a big one and visit Paris.

About English, I like it a lot because it let me communicate around the world, with other people, learn about others cultures.
